Heavy traffic. Honking horns. A moment of imbalance. Grocery bags brushing against a spinning front wheel.

In that split second, Notabag founder Adnan Alicusic found himself narrowly avoiding an accident while cycling through the city with groceries in hand. It was a simple yet frustrating experience—one that sparked a realization. Carrying plastic bags on handlebars was far from ideal. A backpack would have made all the difference.

That moment set the idea in motion.

Adnan began envisioning a smarter, more versatile solution—something lightweight, compact, and always within reach. A bag that could adapt to everyday needs without adding bulk. Smaller and more convenient than a traditional backpack, yet more functional and comfortable than a tote.

From this idea, Notabag was born: a simple, innovative hybrid that seamlessly transforms between a tote bag and a backpack—designed for life on the move.
